I drove here after my cat fell from 3 stories, in a puddle of tears desperately trying to find help for him. They were quick, and so kind to me despite this accident being negligence on my part. They did a full exam, despite him HATING the vet and always throwing a fit. I didn’t have time to give him his usual anxiety meds, as I was in fear of his life being at stake if something internally was bleeding. They informed me that he will be just fine, and here I am a week out and he is doing great. His limp is subsiding, his lip looks almost fully healed and he is back to his normal self.Highly recommend!! Thank you guys so much!
Our local vet recommended VECC after our 12 year old dog had developed nodules on her spleen which after the second ultrasound grew twice its size in a month. after meeting with DR Lister and having a negative chest x ray we decided to have the spleen removed and a biopsy on the liver to make sure we got everything. The results from the biopsy of the spleen & liver showed no cancer . thank god we highly recommend them for your pet's medical needs we received a quick appointment 2 days after calling them and the same day we had the consult our dog had the surgery later that day ... She may be 12 years old but as the good doctor said it's only a number . we are very grateful for the quick and through attention she received and hope to have many more years with our Ginger
Went for ortho consult for our dog’s knees issues. Everyone was super kind and our surgeon took plenty of time to go over how everything would go and then got our pup in that week. She’s recovering great and everything has gone as expected.
The person answering the phone was knowledgeable and helpful in 2 separate possible emergencies with our dog. Both times she knew what she was talking about and gave us advice that saved us a trip and probably a bunch of money. They’ve earned our trust and if we call and they tell us to come in, we’ll know it’s in the true best interest of our pet. Thank you!
Unfortunately in the fall of 2023, we had to put 2 of our animals to sleep due to different health problems. I cannot express how grateful I am to have been able to go here in the middle of the night, when we finally knew it was time. I love and miss my pets dearly, but the compassion shown by the staff at this facility made their passings so much easier.
I really cannot say enough good about this practice. They are there when you need them, and they are FANTASTIC.
I took my dog Max for emergent gallbladder surgery. They were all very quick and caring. The surgeon answered all my questions and my Max came through great. I'm so glad there is such a place for my pets that's so thorough and accommodating. Thank you!
Everyone at VECC have been great to my 7 yr old snowshoe cat Milo and me. After multiple visits to my vet to determine the cause of Milo's chronic vomiting, they discovered what appears to be a stomach tumor and suspected lymphoma after an ultrasound. They referred us to Port City ER for an endoscopic biopsy and official diagnosis, but their oncology appointments were booked till April. I called VECC and got an appointment the next week.I've been very anxious and stressed due to Milo's situation but Dr. Rollings and nurse Liz immediately put me at ease when we arrived with their genuinely kind and honest approach. Milo ended up needing abdominal surgery to get the tissue sample (his stomach wall was too fragile to complete the endoscopy) and he needed to stay overnight. I've read about the pros/cons and differences between surgery and endoscopy and though its more invasive, it may be better that he got surgery since it did enable them to get much better tissue samples from multiple areas, which should lead to a more accurate diagnosis. Dr. Rollings kept me informed before, during and after the procedure, plus he and his team answered my (many) questions, all of which made me feel much better. They were so fond of Milo and everyone took great care of him. The biopsy samples are being sent to the reputable Colorado State University Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, so trusting the results will be accurate as well.
